Short Bio

Julie obtained her Diploma in Nursing from Barnes School of Nursing in St. Louis in 1992. She continued her education and obtained her BSN at Webster University. She also received the Webster University Community Service Award upon Graduation in 2003.

Julies focus has always been in the Oncology arena. She started as an Oncology staff nurse, Assistant Manager for the oncology unit and then as a Nurse Coordinator for Siteman Cancer Center. Julie now continues her oncology nursing as a Complex Case Manager for Group Health Plan. She continues to support and guide members/care givers through the oncology experience. Julie also maintains her expertise in regards to Oncology Related Clinical Trials.

Julie has only been a Nurse Case Manager and a member of CMSS for two years. She was part of the 2008 Planning Committee and volunteered as a 2008 Conference Committee Member for the St. Louis Chapter. Julie is very active in recruiting speakers for continuing education related to the difficult case management issues related to the oncology patient.

Julie is the proud mother of three girls and continues to show her enthusiasm for Oncology Nursing and Case Management in her new Managed Care world.
